Philosophy of Ministry
Ministry is an ordained vocation, not a religious job. Ministry is unto God, through His people. It is loving people, leading people, and walking with people.
The life, death and resurrection of Jesus form the basis for all work. Salvation- we introduce people to God through the death of Christ. Sanctification- we grow people toward God through the life of Christ. Glorification- we prepare people for an eternity with God through the resurrection of Jesus.
I strive for excellence in ministry through constant evaluation.
Theology
Very conservative and biblical. I believe the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and life. I believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. I believe in the autonomy of the local church and congregational authority within each church. I believe in the priesthood of every believer the autonomy of the individual soul before God.
Mission/ Education
I strongly believe in the local church involvement in missions. Both direct involvement and cooperative efforts are means of fulfilling this ministry that was mandated by Christ Himself.
I believe that every believer should be growing in their faith and learning. The local church has the responsibility to consciously promote and facilitate this through every program and activity.
